Volunteer FAQs

I've already attended the initial required Volunteer Training Session - can I do it again?
The required Volunteer Training Session is a one time session. There can be additional supplemental trainings opportunities for interested participants.
I have to report my hours, is that possible volunteering at The Folx Collective?
We do NOT facilitate court mandated community service. If you need to report hours to your college, or program - please contact our Volunteer Coordinator for required steps.
Can I volunteer if Im not 18 years old?
We do not accept any volunteer under the age of 18, with the exception of Senior students (age 17) that have already graduated high school and have currently enrolled into college level academia - ie apprenticeship, certification, or college; proof is required.
We have a group of people, can we volunteer together?
Currently we will not be able to accommodate groups. Interested volunteers are encouraged to apply individually. If you need to be partnered with specific volunteers for rideshare & things like that, please contact the Volunteer Coordinator directly.
